If you want to get away from the noise and the massive sized bourbon bars on whiskey row then this is the place to be. I loved it so much I came here twice. Michelle was a wonderful host and provided great company and conversation. Shared thoughts on a lot of bottles, and took her recommendations. I was a big fan of the Sherry cask finished bourbons by rabbit hole and cinder & smoke.
The bartender was very informative and helpful. I don't know whether she is also the owner. I ordered French Red Wine which I enjoyed very much. Two persons at a table not far from me were enjoying their drinks and engaging in an interesting conversation. Two persons at a table by the window were enjoying their drinks and watching what was going on outside. One customer purchased a bottle, to go. Lots of labels to choose from, some labels are rare stuff. It was a very pleasant experience. Nice place. Clean restroom. I highly recommend this business. TEN ROSES OUT OF TEN

If you’re looking for a spot in Louisville that feels like a warm hug in a wine glass, Taste Fine Wine & Bourbons is it. I popped in on a whim and ended up getting completely spoiled by Josh, who might just be the most adorable and attentive server I’ve had in a long time He didn’t just serve drinks, he created a whole vibe just for me. Every pour was thoughtful, every recommendation hit, and his energy? So kind and genuine. You can really tell he cares about making sure you have a great time. I left feeling like I’d found my new favorite little pre-brunch ritual.
Nice cozy vibe and great bourbon selection, the only in Kentucky flights were really good. Single, all gender restroom. Amazing service and knowledgeable staff.
The bartender Lauren has extensive knowledge of wines and bourbons and gives amazing customer service! She is incredible and really knows what she’s talking about.
If only there were 10 stars for this review! Taste is everything a bourbon and wine bar should be! Over 500 bourbons to taste, half that to purchase by the bottle, domestic and import wines also to taste and purchase by the bottle. But it's the service and atmosphere that are irreplaceable! Great place to have a laugh with the bartenders or locals or read a book in the window seat. If only I could go once a week!
This was our first tasting stop in our visit to Bourbon country, as most places didn't open during the week until 4pm. We walked in and were greeted immediately by Steven. He was incredibly helpful and friendly, offered lots of advice for us on our journey, and talked us through some tastings of "Kentucky Only" bottles. We sampled various bourbons, as well as a few different old fashioned ( Try the Rye Old Fashioned - it was exceptional ). We had the opportunity to sample a Doorknocker Single Barrel, and an Ingram and Green River store pick. All very different - and delicious in their own rights. We liked this place so much we stopped in again another day for some cocktails, the staff was just as friendly. They also offer wine tastings here, and it looks like they've got a great selection for tasting or just for sipping on cocktails. Would recommend this as a stop to anyone in downtown Louisville for an opportunity to cool off and relax with some water and a cocktail, or taste a wide variety of bourbons or wine and get some good conversation.
